11 days before take off

Still a lot of things to do before I can say that I am ready to go. Nervous, no, I am quite used to travel but anyway this trip will be different because I am not travelling alone. Main arrangements are finalized but some are still waiting for final confirmation. We all are looking forward to meet the relatives and see those great new places.

Some things are ready for packing and packing lists are getting longer and longer. Hopefully everything needed will end up to suitcases. Somehow it is bitty that we are leaving great Finnish summer and end up to Australian winter tho in temperature there won't be so much difference.

Just now I'm sitting in the kitchen and watching the heavy rain and thunder storm hoping to be able to upload this before loosing the update. Let's see if next update is on the way already.

Launch for Australia closer than ever

Time flies it is only 4 weeks to start up. Flights are booked and visas are confirmed and now planning what to take along and what to see in places we will stop there. ( suomenkielistä tekstiä annanmatka , anninmatkassa ).

Aino has started her tour around Australia and now having one week visit in Fiji and continues then continues her tour from Perth.

After five weeks we all will get together in Brisbane and celebrate Aino's birthday there before heading north with motorhome. You can see Aino's tour progress in following link Aino's tour.

Final arrangements are now floating along with Kaustinen Folk Music Festivals during next week and after that there is only 2 weeks to go and we have to fit fairly lot in that time. Meanwhile enjoy the Broome sunset by Aino.
